Welland Canal
The Welland Canal is one of the truly great boatwatching spots in the world.
The canal sees a mixture of salties and the older smaller lakers,
although large modern 1000 footers won't fit through the locks.
A canal transit takes several hours, allowing many photo angles of each boat.
Many of these photos were taken from our room balcony at the
Inn At Lock 7,
one of the best places in the world to spend a few days.
